The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says an investigation is underway regarding an officer-involved shooting Tuesday that left one man injured. The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. in the area of Micron Avenue and Bradshaw Road in Sacramento, according to officials.
A fatal crash involving multiple-vehicles on the 405 Freeway prompted officials to shut down the majority of the southbound lanes through Westminster early Wednesday. Authorities investigate a fatal crash on the 405 Freeway. The crash occurred about 2 a.m. near Westminster Boulevard and involved at least four vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident log.
A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed early this morning when he lost control and crashed into a parked car in Mira Mesa, police said. The fatal accident happened around 1:10 a.m. in the 8600 block of Westmore Road, a residential street on the north side of the Mira Mesa Community Park, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said. The victim was eastbound on a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle when he crashed.
Two people accused of robbing a pregnant woman inside her Pacific Beach apartment before one of them allegedly stole a San Diego police car and drove it into the water at Fiesta Island pleaded not guilty Tuesday to various charges, including “hot prowl” burglary, false imprisonment and auto theft. James Graham, 40, and Stephanie Majsterski, 25, were ordered held on $600,000 and $300,000 bail, respectively.

A homicide investigation was underway in Chula Vista Monday after police found a man dead under suspicious circumstances at a tattoo parlor where they'd responded hours earlier to a vague, anonymous call about armed men at the business. The unidentified victim's body was found about 11 p.m. Sunday inside Raza Tattoo in the 300 block of Broadway.
