A man was taken into custody after two explosive devices detonated inside a Sam's Club store in Southern California, police said. No injuries were reported
Final Update: Machete wielding man shot/killed by LAPD. - Began as a domestic violence call - NO CHILDREN INJURED! One minor injury other than the suspect. - Happened near De Soto and Strathern in Canoga Park. - No officers injured
LAPD confirms this began as a domestic incident and that the suspect is DEAD. He was armed with a machete. Says there was one other minor injury. Suspect apparently attacked someone inside home, that's when they got the call.

A man and a woman were arrested after a shooting left another man injured in Cypress, police said. Christopher Livingston and Cynthia. The shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 4300 block of Lincoln Avenue, according to Cypress police.

A Sacramento PD officer is ok after his cruiser was hit by a car this morning. The officer is blocking Broadway due to a shooting investigation. Driver did not see the officer's car that had its flashing lights on.

Officers were dispatched to the 16500 block of Western Avenue about 12:15 p.m. after receiving a report of a traffic collision between a car and motorcycle, police said in a news release. The injured male rider was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release stated. His name has not yet been released.

Bryan Sean Carter and Vernon David Bownes were shot and killed Dec. 17, 1997, while sitting at a picnic table in the front yard of a home in the 200 block of Francis Street, San Diego police homicide Lt. Mike Holden said. Both men were shot in the head and died at the scene.
