Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were assisting with an investigation after a man was shot and killed by Huntington Park police officers
According to the City of Shafter, an officer who was struck and suffered major injuries while investigating a crash has undergone surgery for his injuries and is recovering in the hospital
