Active Structure Fire incident reported in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.
Lancaster 911 call reported an unresponsive infant. The parents promptly transported the baby to the hospital, but were intercepted by Lancaster deputies at the intersection of Avenue J8 and Fine Street. Tragically, firefighters pronounced the baby deceased upon arrival. The coroner arrived at 2:30 p.m. to retrieve the baby’s body, which was still on the sidewalk. The circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident are currently unknown and under investigation.
Multiple homes were on fire in a residential area of San Jose just off Quimby Road Sunday. Very intense flames could be seen coming off these homes from our SKY7 camera as firefighters blasted them with hoses.
