The cause of last night's 2-alarm vegetation fire on Sabercat Rd remains under investigation. The fire was contained to approximately 2 acres and there were no reports of injuries
10AM, Santa Rosa Fire responded to vegetation fire, 3300 block of Chanate Road. The fire burned 30 by 75 feet in cut seasonal grasses. Initial response with CAL FIRE & Sonoma Co Fire District, incident handled by 2 SR Fire engines & Battalion. 2 Fire Investigators assigned

2 year agoThe CoyoteFire burning in the Hollywood Hills is now contained thanks to night-flying water-dropping helicopters from @LAFD and @LACoFireAirOps and 100 firefighters on the ground. Fire burned approx. one acre and crews will remain to mop up into the morning

Crews seemed to get a hold of the fire with no flames visible at about 10:30 p.m and LAFD announced that the fire was officially contained at about 10:50 p.m

2 year agoCrews on scene are 60 minutes into a 2Alarm commercial structure fire near 48th Ave & E12th Street. Fire is now contained but area residents may still smell and see smoke for another hour or more as crews continue to put water on the fire. This is still an active fire incident
2 year agoCommander at the 2Alarm incident in 1200 block of 48th Ave. Incident is now under control. Great job by the 40+firefighters that responded & prevented any extensions to adjacent warehouse + residential structure. Cause unknown, Investigator on scene
