2 year agoA patrol car slammed into a mini-van during a pursuit of grand theft suspects. The incident began shortly after 3 a.m. when deputies located a mini-van connected to a catalytic converter theft traveling southbound on Interstate 5 approaching Lyons Avenue
2 year agoA pursuit was initiated shortly after. At some point, a patrol SUV t-boned the mini-van at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and northbound Interstate 5's off and on ramps. The suspects footbailed from the vehicle
2 year agoOne person was detained at gunpoint outside the 76 fuel station. Another suspect was taken into custody at gunpoint in a backyard on Vista Ridge Drive in Valencia
2 year ago(in the area at the time) and @CHP_Newhall assisted @scvsheriff throughout the situation. At least two people were transported to the hospital with injuries sustained in the crash

2 year agoNeighbors called 911 just before 10 p.m. tonight to report flames at a home covered with a fumigation tent in the 28000 block of Estima in @MissionViejoCA. Firefighters simultaneously mitigated potential chemical exposure hazards while extinguishing the fire

2 year agoFire has been extinguished and is under investigation. No injuries reported. several other fires on the old Ca. Shellfish Co. property over the last 18 months. All of these fires are believed to be human caused. Any info about this fire visit
